The PERFECT Shabbat dessert!
Ingredients
Challah
Challah dough
Vermont Nut Free Chocolates Milk Chocolate Chips
Crumb
Flour 1/4 cup
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Sugar 1/3 cup
Oil (slowly add in and mix until a crumb forms)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Roll the challah dough really flat. Make sure no holes appear. Melt your chocolate chips. When melted spread it evenly over the flat dough. Roll the dough over the long way making a log with the chocolate spread rolled inside. When rolled, slice the log down the middle- leaving the center of the roll face up. Take the two half logs and place them over each other creating a two braid. Place in a baking tin lined with oil. Egg wash the dough then Add your crumb mixture on top and bake on 350 until crispy. (You may have to spray with pam halfway through).
