Sweet Rewards Terms
Vermont Nut Free Chocolates Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions:
"Sweet Rewards" ("Loyalty Program") is a rewards program offered by Vermont Nut Free Chocolates ("we," "us," or "our") through which members earn rewards on purchases made at vermontnutfree.com. By participating in the Program, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms") and confirm you meet the eligibility requirements in Section 1. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not participate in the Program.
1. Membership Eligibility and Account Creation
Membership in the Program ("Membership") is limited to individuals age 16 or older, acting for personal, family, or household purposes. Distributors, resellers, and others acting for commercial purposes may not participate. Minors must obtain a parent or legal guardian's consent before participating.
To join, create an account ("Account") at https://vermontnutfree.com/pages/rewards (the "Rewards Page") and follow the onscreen instructions. Limit one (1) Account per person; attempts to create multiple Accounts may result in disqualification, Account cancellation, and voiding of Points, in our sole discretion and subject to applicable law.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, and you are responsible for the security of your password and all activity under your Account. We may disable any Account containing inaccurate or outdated information. All registrations are subject to verification, and we may require proof of identity or eligibility (such as government-issued photo ID) at any time. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in Account cancellation and, subject to applicable law, forfeiture of associated Points.
2. Membership Tiers and Benefits
Your Tier is based on your total spending on Vermont Nut Free Chocolates products (excluding shipping and taxes, in USD) over a rolling 12-month period.
All members start at the "Discover" Tier upon opting in and completing a purchase. Spending at least $250 within a 12-month period automatically upgrades you to the "Savor" Tier, and spending at least $500 automatically upgrades you to the "Devour" Tier, effective the day the threshold is met.
Each upgrade is valid for 12 months; to keep your Tier for the following 12-month period, you must meet its spending threshold again during your current period.
Entry Points:
One-time Tier bonuses: 50 Points ("Discover") awarded upon Account creation and first purchase, 100 Points ("Savor"), and 200 Points ("Devour"), each awarded on the date the Tier is reached.
Birthday Points:
Members will receive birthday points on the date of their birthday by tier: 100 Points ("Discover"), 200 Points ("Savor"), or 300 Points ("Devour").
3. Earning and Redeeming Membership Points
Members earn 1 Point per $1 spent on Vermont Nut Free Chocolates products at https://vermontnutfree.com ("Points"), as described in Section 2 above (e.g., spend $100, earn 100 Points). Additional Points can be earned via the Rewards Page:
- Share on Facebook – 20 Points
- Follow on Instagram – 20 Points
- Refer a Friend – 200 Points, once the referred customer completes a first purchase requirements
Earning reward activities may change on a promotional basis. We reserve the right to update and change the earning rules at any time. You may view your current Point balance, as well as any activity on your Account, by logging into your Account.
Points may be redeemed for discounts or other promotional goods through our website at https://vermontnutfree.com only.
Redeeming Points for Discounts: Points are redeemable in 100-Point increments ($5 per 100 Points), up to 400 Points per transaction. Points are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be exchanged for cash or cash equivalents.
All Points redemptions require a purchase. To earn or redeem Points online, please sign into your Account prior to completing your transaction.
4. Points Expiration
Unused Points automatically expire 12 months after the date they are earned and cannot be reinstated or redeemed thereafter.
5. Promotional Offers
We may, from time to time and in our sole discretion, offer promotions that modify Point earning (such as multipliers or bonus Points) to all members or any subset of members.
Promotions may be announced via our website, social media, email, or other channels.
These Terms, plus any additional terms accompanying a specific offer, govern all promotions unless you are notified otherwise.
6. Restrictions on Points
Points and your participation in the Program are subject to the following limitations:
Points are non-transferable and may not be sold, bartered, assigned, or exchanged between members or Accounts. Points are not property, confer no vested right or interest, have no cash value, and are not redeemable for cash.
We may invalidate any Points we determine, in our sole discretion, were credited in error, obtained fraudulently, or otherwise obtained inconsistently with these Terms, and we may correct any Points balance if an error has occurred. Points awarded for returned or cancelled purchases will be void and removed from the applicable Account.
Abuse of the Program, failure to follow these Terms, or misrepresentation may result in expulsion from the Program and, as permitted by law, forfeiture of all Points. Our decisions on all aspects of the Program are final and binding without right of appeal.
7. Changes to Terms
We may amend or modify these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time. Where permitted by applicable law, this includes changes to participation requirements, Point earning and redemption rates, Tiers, and available rewards and benefits.
